The Cross’ were at home on a very wet Friday to a strong side from Aylesbury Town. Terry Webb won the 2 wood singles to give GX their first point and with David Simpson on masterful form in the 4 wood singles the second point was soon on the board. The triples were pipped by Aylesbury but the pair of Keith Young and Chris Harvey won their match 16-15 on the last end to get the necessary winning third point. The fours, as they were on the last end completed their close game but again GX ran out winners for a  4-1 victory.
